Leytonstone charity concert a sell-out success

Carefree Kids Alexander Baillie charity concertThere was a wonderful evening of music last Saturday (9 June) in the magnificent dining hall of Forest School, Snaresbrook, which was packed for Leytonstone based charity Carefree Kids first ever fundraising concert.

The concert, ‘From Heart to the Heart’ was performed by world renowned cellist Alexander Baillie, accompanied on piano by John Thwaites.

The event was also attended by Cllr Richard Sweden, Mayor of Waltham Forest, and was held to raise funds towards an urgently needed new mobile therapy playbus, which is central to the work that Carefree Kids does in Waltham Forest and the surrounding boroughs.

The charity would like to thank everybody who attended and who sponsored the event with prizes for the raffle.
